headlight to come on when unlocking car
i have wondered if it is possible, today i set about it i got the wire from the interior light to the light switch on the dash, all fine and dandy but when trying to connect up i found the centre light had 12v perm, and 0v when the light is on and 12v when it is off
. am i doing something wrong..... reconsidered do icome of the remote locking module to the switch??? im putting a diode in circuit to stopback feeds from the lights. i need assistance on where to pick my feed from so when i press my remote to open the doors my lights come on outside to make life easier.
i hope this makes sense hahaha

Why have the lights on when you are about to get in the car?
But if you must;
Use the switching 0v from the interior light to operate a relay (with 12v permanently on the coil) that will then put your lights on.
Using the relay will also stop any backfeed.
