Default My Mk2 SWB Transit

I have my mk2 transit up for sale

Its a 1985 mk2 swb with a 2 litre pinto engine with a webber carb.

The body is very clean, the only welding it has ever had is 2 new rear arches, lower rear 1/4's and a bit of the n/s outrigger. the underside is lovely. The door steps, bottom of rear doors and all the usal rust spots are mint.

Its had a full respray in its original colour of gentine blue.

It is fitted with a tow bar and electrics.
The interior is also very clean and the back is newly ply lined and insulated.

The engine runs well and starts 1st time and is fitted with a webber twin choke carb and filter. It was serviced 4 months ago which included new plugs, oil filters, points and dizzy cap.

The van passed its MOT around 6 months ago and passed 1st time. it will come with 6 months MOT.

I will also include a few spares including belts, rear lichts, points, fuel filter and a few interior plastics.

I have been using this van daily untill i put in storage at the end of november and it has not let me down atol.
You will be hard pushed to find a better mk2.

If you have any questions give me a pm and ill be happy to answer. viewing is welcome 07827443752

There is some sign writing advertising my buisness on the side which will be remover when sold.

It was also used in a BBC drama called "fields of blood" which will be on the tele next year. pics of it during filming available

All in all a great van which would be good for advertising your buisness or towing a classic ford!

£3800 ono may p/x
cheers,auld

Same here lol. was having a good nose round some mk1 transits at ford fair that had all been restored with modern engines though for towing classic cars about. Think there was a mk1 tilt/beaveartail in white with an alloy that was mint with a 2.5 di in it and i overheard him saying he knew of someone building one with the 2.4tdci engine and running gear.
