Yeah absoutle scumbags mate, it was on the first night i got it aswell. Shell was not to bad, the filler cap had been replaced but has the odd bits of rust coming through. And yes i would. Pm me.

why bloody vauxhall pistons ! there only good for 200 bhp, no more , the engine will be good for well over that so bit of a shame

That will really hold up the sale IMO

200 bhp?? The car runs well over this figure and the engine is mint.. My mate holds the quickest fwd ford using the same pistons....

yea 200 bhp , ok fair play the engine mite be over 200bhp but i would not trust those pistons, no big power CVH engine have them. All the main engine builders dont use them.

Its just a cheap route IMO.

Why have you commented on here with negative rubbish?? Cheap option at over Ł400 for the pistons alone?? If you dont trust them, then dont use them.. And were not on about a CHV engine??

And as for no engine builders use them? MSD who built my old Rs2000 turbo used let pistons and that was around 330bhp, 5 years trouble free motoring... Have you ever even had a big powered car?? Is that why Ian Howell built this engine?? Is he not a big zetec builder??

im sorry to clutter the thread, BUT Mahle pistons are very good and been proven in cvh engines with some machining for over 300 hp,GLWTS

what condition is the ofab, loom, etc in and does everything come with it to plug an play for a similar spec zt

Thankyou.. someone that actually talks sense. The OFAB loom is in good working order and the car runs no problems. Yes it would be a simple plug and play and could include everything you needed.

Going to get pics up Wednesday when im home.

Hi mate, yes there they type that sit in the door cards tho, and i would like to keep them with the interior.. But i think i may have the other type aswell, the ones that sit below ashtray. Which ones were you after mate?
