Cooker Extractor Hood problem.......

Can anyone tell me why my Baumatic Extractor Hood has suddenly developed an appetite for Light Bulbs??

Both bulbs blew the other night practically at the same time. I replaced them last night and within 10 minutes one has blown.

as above... fooked switch not makin good contact, prongs/springs whatever that connect/touch onto the lamp.
