quick question i got via text
A chick i'm seeing just text me this
she was driving along and when she turns left there is a thud ( persume a knocking noise) then when she is driving straight she reckons it's like springs she hears from the passenger side
The car is a fiat stilo any ideas i know the description is pish but it's what i have to work with lol

alloys or hub caps? cos hub caps tend to make a chain noise after being smashed on the curb/pot hole (the thud)

i thought a spring myself tbh then she said it didn't do it when turning right hence i asked on here

lol i was thinking that told her to bring it round and i'll have a look if it's the spring there easy enough to do so i'll no doubt end up fixing it

I've had three springs snap - two in the focus and one in the passat.
The 'twang' described above is a very accurate way of naming the sound - it happens mostly as you move on lock in either direction..
Jacking it up will soon reveal all...
