Default fiesta St track car

Hi guys,

does anyone have a fiesta ST they use as a track day car, if so can you please post some pics?

I have seen the project thread by 'Blair' and that looks like one awesome FUN car

Being 31, i'm now looking to build my first FUN car and thought the fiesta would be a cheapish , reliable option (not really into very old 205's etc)

The alternative is a mark 4 r32, but the budget gets a lot steeper
any help appreciated

the clio 172 seems to be a far more popular choice for track cars mate,
probably far better and cheaper than the fiesta

To do a spec of a car for racing or fast track days that fiesta i bet was not cheap.
it cost 12k to get a saxo vtr that i race at a good pace in my championship 1600 was on cage and fitting then another 1600 on suspsension then 400 on tyres before i start to go into brakes/engine rebuild/exhaust/ecu/safety features

due to restrictions in race championship most things are stock.

uses a 106rallye head on late VTR bottom end with standard inlet
Blueprinted
MBE Ecu

129bhp 124lbs of torque

yea m-sport sell some really good kit for them too. A lot is overpriced but those reiger dampers are top top dampers, alhough they are only 2 way adjustable, they are absolutely immense. And cheap for what they are!!

I'd far rather strip out a DC2 Integra Type R and use that as a track toy, but each to their own... the gearboxes on the ST Fiesta are known to be a bit weak when used properly, so can't think they'll enjoy constant track work.

Cheers,
