Default Flooring Question........

When laying Flooring between 2 rooms that are not separated by a door (i.e. there is an Arch), where is the correct place to put the Door Strip?? I am tiling the Hall Floor, which leads into the Kitchen. Should I.......

1. Place the Door Bar level with the Wall, closest to the Hall

2. Place the Door Bar in the Centre

3. Place the Door Bar level with the wall, closest to the Kitchen

4. Other sugestions??

Ta.

The centre would be the obvious place i guess! Although the same flooring throughout would be much more tastefull and no door bar would be required

That really lacks imagination, typical Beantin drivers remark.

There is no way that Travertine Tiles would go with a Grey/Stainless Kitchen.

4ther suggestions .if both floors when finished are level ,you wont need any bar if you finsh it neatly enough,i done something like this were a marble floor met an oak herringbone floor, just a small expansion joint filled with mastic ,much neater looking.
