i was suposed to recieve my certificate in the post and via email. i still havent recieved the one in the post 10 days after i opened the policy.
when i opened the email which was suposed to have the form in there i found this.

The cancellation letter has been issued, as it has come to our attention that you carry out additional work as a DJ, which was not originally advised to us.

yes i am a dj , no i havent recieved money for this.

i think it might be becuase of my email adress becuase it says deejay in it.

djing is just a hobby im so confused..

Be interesting to hear why they canceled. ?
Because they thought you would be carrying equipment. ?
Or the hours and temptation to drink and drive. ?

Do a bit Disco / Karaoke myself. and have been told never to tell insurance company's this.
A Friend gets trade insurance for his vans as an Electrician says if he tells them he dj's they double the quote..

As far as insurance claims stats go, mobile DJ is pretty much at the top of the high risk group.

Theft of equipment. ?
But if you just show up to a club / pub, do your set then return home. Surely social domestic, travel to and from place of work would cover you. ?
(if you carry no equipment)
