Starting Track days
Hi to all
I have been wanting to start doing track days for a couple of months now and decided this year i would get it up and running. I'm wanting to build a budget track day car with about £2000 i work at a garage so i have the place and tools to do it, the only thing stoppping me at the moment is what car to use.
I was planning to strip it out, rollcage, uprated suspension and brakes, engine mods can wait till i have more experience on track.
I was thinking something ford because i'm abit of a ford fan but open to any ideas anyone might have?
Thanks in advance

try and look for a escort bonus or orion thats been zetec'd maybe then just strip it out could be a cheap way of getting started but im not expert someone on here will know better
Thats pretty much what we did, got an Escort bonus cheap, sourced mostly second hand parts, put in a 2.0L Zetec caged it, buckets and did our first track day at Brands Hatch in November very addictive cant wait for the next one, have a look in the resto room we have a build thread if your looking for ideas.........
