Default under body paint

specifically rear beams

what is recommended to use for us non bufty types?

i've got a beam for the fiesta that i want to paint up before i get it fitted up, so rather than getting it blasted and then powder coated and stuff, is there something i can just brush on? apply with a rattle can? ed china it up a bit without going the whole bufty polishy thing?

I'd go for stone chip myself as it's pretty robust and will require hardly any prep compared to any other method.will look neat in black and as long as you don't go silly with the coats,it'll give an even finish too.it will take longer to dry than rattle cans but will be a lot tougher.

You can get the stoneguard for Ł3.50 a can and the guns about Ł10.

I bought some smoothrite style paint to do my fuel cradle. Comes in a rattle can and in the basic colours - red, blue, white, black - and cost around Ł7 a can. Havn't sprayed it yet but had good recommendation to use it.
