Default Anybody know where I can get bonnet pins from but they must be m10x1.5

Andrew welded bosses in the tailgate for the pins so I bought some but it turns out they are m10x1.25 and the bosses Andrew welded in are standard m10x1.5 thread,

I know you can get them in that thread size but can only find the areocatch kits and I just want a cheap bonnet pin set

Thanks
Marc

I can't re thread an m10x1.5 to a finer thread size of m10x1.25! It a tube/boss so doesn't have the thickness to be drilled bigger and re tapped for a helicoil or do you mean re cut the pin to 1.5 pitch

As far as I read fudge was keeping his car if he had th opportunity to buy it back, not break it up Ginge?

Anyone else???

In a tap and die set it's the die that is used to re cut the thread isn't it?

Thanks

Rethreading is properly bodge. And u can only rethread a fine thread to a coarse. Not the other way round.
