what do i need to be looking at to carry out this conversion?

got a t3 on a s2 manifold, what do i need to look at in regards to oil and water feeds?

both oil pipes and water pipes , both could be hard to find i found , plus u will need a escort top rad pipe.

U will also need an escort down pipe as well then fit it into the fiesta pipe

 

got the turbo on a manifold, got the elbow, is that the downpipe?

can i connect it up to the amnal vlave the same as i do with my t2?

 

amal valve yes , the same way, the elbow off the turbo should be a t3 one , then u will next to connect the new exhaust pipe on to it ( down pipe )

what exhaust system have u got on ya FRST ?

cool, i have a mongoose system on the FRST, which is turbo back.... am i gonna have to change this?

 

LOl, this is my best effort ,hopefully it makes sense the bit in red is the bit u have to change for the escort rs turbo mongoose part , brand new its £176+ vat if i remember . i paid £70 for mine off a mate , they do pop up now and then , there should be someone on here that has one

 

am i gonna need to move my rad and cooler forward, as it all seems like a complete fuck on to do......

and yes u will have to move the rad forward, no probs at all , just make some brackets , ive got some , ill take a photo of them and show u what they look like
the rad only needs to move forward 30mm of so

you will also need the oil return stub that fits into the block, ive got some new ones if your after one

 

decided to keep with the t2, the car is too nice to be fuckin about with, so have sourced a rebuilt t2, so am gonna pull mine off for inspection, as its still under warranty, and see how i get on with claiming for a new one....
i got it from CR turbo's, anyone had any dealings with them?
its only been on the car for around 2k and has always been at standard boost level....

yep , thats who i bought my stage 2 T3 off , great service and good price.

Shame u are not going for T3 mate as the difference is massive but very very laggy , my T3 does not reallt kick in till just under 5k !!! well ..............it did b4 a broke I rod lol
