one is my m3 coupe, 2004,can come with m3 reg for extra £250,it has 63k miles on it, with full service history, just haveing had an inspection 2 done, so next service isan oil change, in 7.5k miles, it has, 6 speed manual gearbox,widescreen sat nav, 6cd changer,19"alloys, ipod conection, full black unmarked leather, electric seats, all books etc,reciepts, hpiclear on all counts, needs nothing, 9 months tax and test, tinted windows,

Hi pal i have a 03 plate Focus rs with a genuine 22k miles on the clock.... engine built to very high spec by GGR..... recipts to show, and power graph to prove engine power.... lookin for something the misses can drive more frequently without the torque steer braking her nails....

Car worth around £12000 due to low miles, this is before the thousands i have spent....

thanks mate, heard too many problems with smg, and all the subframe issues seem to be smg models,
cant beat a manual i think,

 

Is it just Smg models that are ripping rear subframes out then?
Thats the only problem when u change cars i have had mine 4 the past 9 years and was my brothers b4 me for 4 years and i will end up selling it for a m3 with half the rear floor missing

 

Yes mate it seems that almost all problems are with smg models but I think BMW put a new boot floor in aslong as the car is standard no mods at all

 

steer well clear of the smg matey. used to own one of those and the clutch needed replacing..... £4100 from bmw!!!

lol 3 doors are nice, never had one, always been saphs, yes i know what you mean, took me ages to find this m3, think i looked at 15 first, lost count and was begining to lose the will to even look at more then this one appeard.

Thats a bit expensive SMG in simple terms is a manual box with a hydraulic module bolted to it.
They use a standard clutch / pressure plate set up (exactly the same as the manual) so no more or no less to replace than the one for sale here.

Thanks mate yes looks even better now the wheels been polished also it has a 12 year anti corrosion warranty from BMW. So no rust issues

 

going on pistonheads soon, and fleabay, no doubt get usual timewasters there lol,

now on ebay will take px up to 5 k

What sort of offers have you been getting on ebay? Does your head in selling cars on that site!
M3's have dropped in value massively though, if you have a look at the completed listings on ebay they're not making much. Worries me about buying one, hate losing money on cars but it looks like the prices are going south.
As well, I reckon the fact that the SMG fault is known to happen usually around 60k which is what yours is could be putting people off.
What plate is the car on? 53, 04 or 54?

yup its a manual not smg, and its on an 04 reg, silly offers of 8k, 10k,11.8k lowest ill go is 12.5k or ill just keep it, not fussed if it goes or not,at the moment anyway lol
