That is one clean Mk3! i like that alot and loving the interior, but for some reason it reminds me of a load of drift volvo 340's that are near me, might be the shape of those arches?

perhaps they got rid of the cails due to unreliability like so many rs1600 owners did. It may have also had the rocker cover sold. whats the differences between the engines. i know they have a higher lift cam and solid lifters. twin colils and a smooth inlet manifold and exhaust over axle. what else makes them perform better?

if ou phone oldskool engineering who did the bodywork .... they said they put in 50/60 hours to fabricate the archs and then with the full paint job in and out would be about 4k .... then the interior is one off , its had some money spent....

how much did you pay???? and if you sell it pm me first lol this with bigger engine would be the nuts

I had it for a fair price, sold my XR3i to buy this. I'm going to keep it and enjoy it, had the last car for 6yrs.

It's defo an RS1600i engine, it doesn't have twin coils because it's running on carbs. The reason it doesn't have the cam cover is because the oil breather is in the centre and would be obstructed by the carbs.
