Ive just bought a xr2i with an rs 1800 lump in it running on an omex engine managment system. Is their a possibilty of turboing this engine?
If so what do i need? manifolds? turbo? injectors? intercooler type? oil system?
is this 1800 classed as a zetec?
Any help greatfully taken thanx.

wrong room mate, yes you can turbo it but you will need some form of decompression plate, intercooler, and to afford this is i would sell the omex and run ofab with beige injectors just like my mate did, the omex should make a few hundred quid for the turbo, manifold, intercooler and boost pipes, and ofab, down pipe and 2.5 exhaust, my mate only run 7 psi on his and it made 185bhp on a t3, he later ran 10 psi which we reconed was around 220, lasted along time too until he sold it
