bought a S2 to break and had this turbo on, not sure myself cos of the size of the housing ? any clues ???

looks like a t28 from a 200sx to me, apart from the front housing which is usually an elbow bolted on instead of the straight bit on the comp cover

 

right, could possible be, is there anyway i can tell if its been played with and how much its worth ? (no play in shaft at all)

are they a good turbo what bhp can the produce ?

and yes there like teh lancia version of the escort cos T34!!

 

Its deffo lancia integrale turbo but its off an 8valve not the evo it shold have a .55 exhaust on it unless someones changed it

and no , £50 is a serious price, it would have to be made to fit , and a rebuild to check makesure , without looking at the core, it may need diff exhaust housing, and a diff bearing housing , so when buying a turbo of unknown origin/condition , i will only go off what i can see, and all i can see is a comp wheel and housing that MAY be of use !!

well its all there to fit an Escort turbo, it came off one, there no play in the shaft and the blades are fine, no markings on the side of the housing.

 

ah well you didnt say it had been removed froma know vehicle now did you ?

its in mint con no play in shaft! and its on a escort manifold and downpipe now ! ready to bolt on, i dont really need it cos selling that van anyway and its got a stage 2 hybrid on that so rather have the money !
