Default My wifes 51 plate astra sri. £650. Pics added.

Hi all. Just thought I'd see if any body was interested on this site before stickin it on ebay. The spec of the car is silver 1.8 16v SRi. Standar car. It has front fogs, alloy wheels, irmscher rear spoiler, abs, traction control and air con. Last year it new track rod end, new rear pads and discs, new exhaust centre and rear and three new tyres. It has MOt til April I believe but the tax is up.
Obviously at this price it aint perfect. Th front pads need changing (possibly discs too), it has a scuff front right bumper and the drivers bolster is worn. The car genuinly drives very well. It's very quiet and has plenty of power for what it is. A sensor needs changing as the warning light is on. It is very minor, all the car does is the idle hunts every now and again when you satrt it up. It really does drive just fine though and we have driven it like this for a year. If I wasn't so busy with my RS I'd fix the bits and sell it for around 1100. If you're ok with a spanner then you should be able to fix everything for less than £200. Still makes this a cheap car.
If anyone is seriously interested I'll pop some pics up. Won't drop the price though, it's already good.

The pics which are dark I've just been and took but I thought I'd include some I found on the computer from when it has been clean. Apart from the bumper scuff it still comes up nice like that now.

I don't know. Because it drives fine we've never had it looked at. Because of the hunting at idle I would assume it might be something like that or the idle control valve.

Mine is the same, put the yellow wire to the MAF to ground, if that doesn't work it needs a ecu.

I've done 30k in mine with the light on, it doesn't effect the emissions for the MOT so not worried about it.

Sounds like a cheap car and tbh mine is tidy and I'd still want a grand for mine so I think yours is priced more than fairly.

Cheers mate. I've priced it cheap to sell. My wife is tired of waiting for me to do the pads etc so just wants it sold and some cash in her hand lol.

Ecotec engines are renound for crappy sensors. I'm a member of the Vauxhall Owners Network and people are quite often changing sensors. Everycar has it's flaws and I suppose cheap sensors isn't too bad lol. The cam sensor went on my Cav SRi and that made the car behave quite badly so I don't reckon it's that.

Pics added now. I probably would get a little more on fleebay but for the sake of a few quid we thought we'd try on here first. At this price it may go quicker. We have three cars parked around our house, it's getting a little crowded lol.
