Default Shipping from China......

Has anyone shipped anything from China before? I dont mean single items by airmail, i mean by boat in containers.

Im just trying to get a rough idea of costs at the moment as opinions/info on google seems to vary quite a bit.

Ill be looking at around 5 cubic meters (around 900kg ish) to start with, but im struggling to find a rough price to see if its going to be worth while before i commit.

Any help and info on the process and prices would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers.

Used to use Allport at my old work for shipping containers from Taiwan they were always pretty good to deal with, not sure how much you would be looking at for part container but best bet is give them a call and they'll prob be able to give you an idea as to the costs inc taxes/duty. Tell them you haven't done it before so that they explain everything you'll need to pay as this will vary on what it is you are bringing in to the country. You might need to speak to customs to get the right hs codes etc for the forms/clearance.
Cost will also depend where you are and if you want it just delivering to the port or to the door.
