Default Halfords Advanced Tools - 50% off

Not sure whether some of you guys are aware that Halfords have this offer on at the moment? I know some of you have trade cards so get it at the discounted price anyway, but just a heads up for the people who don't.

I've used Halfords Advanced stuff for yonks now and I highly rate it; pretty good quality and the Lifetime Guarentee is a bonus (with the exception of the ratchets obviously, but the repair kits are cheap enough - not that i've had any problems with my ratchets and they do get abuse!)

Worth a shot if somebody is looking for some new kit, or looking to buy a starter kit for somebody for christmas? I use the 150pc Socket set on a regular basis (I bought it a few years ago under the same offer) and I find it ideal for most jobs, so would be a good beginner set, with the option of further building a tool kit up.

Got their ratchet spanner set last year on a 50% off deal and used them everyday in the workshop, very impressive stuff.

Going to get the flex headed ones for this Xmas!!still got one of their ratchets from 18 years ago,1/2" drive and I use it all the time.silver case with a black switch on it to swap from tighten to loosen.

Gus - Did the exact same mate, I took it back (with receipt) - handed it over and they didn't even ask to look at the receipt, just swapped it for another one
