Pro Alloy Motorsport,

any reviews of this intercooler on the net ?

and how do those 2 whee fans cope in big traffic jams bcause some of the air presure can escape from the gaps between the rad and the intercooler if you know what i mean

will i nead some sort of foam to seal the gap between the rad and the intercooler so the air gets forced through the rad when the fan is on ?

Hi Wayne
You got the Skyline rads in production yet?

vroooom ptssssh, 363 you d'a man
mrviper, the air flow for the radiator is good!- we developed this kit last spring and as yet no probs- we sold the 100th unit over christmas so i guess they are reasonably well proven!!
Renton, yes the sky bus rads are ready.... we bought them off Ima

Fastmaul,

you have a pm chap.

mrviper,
They do indeed work-
there are 2 good reasons to use our turbocooler
1) You are isolating and cooling the super heated water that exits the turbo- this water is sometimes at boiling point and introducing this water straight into the header tank without cooling it significantly raises the over all temperatures of the cooling system.

2) Our turbo cooler sits in the air flow with no other coolers behind it- some others sit in front of the radiator or intercooler, therefore the heat energy is simply transfered to another part of the system.

Some tuners will tell you to disconnect the water system from the turbo- the reason for this is simply to stop the heat energy from the turbo from entering the water system.
Not always good for the turbo as it was designed to have water cooling to stabilise the temperatures around the bearings.
using the turbo cooler gives you the best of both worlds

mrviper, sorry to hear it arrived damaged...as you would have seen we pack them pretty carefully!
Do you want us to sort that pipe out?

The weight is a combination of the fans and the complex internall finning we use in our cores- that's what makes them strong and efficient.
kind regards
wayne

i would be happy to pack it back up if you are willing to arange collection/return

otherwise il just get some mole grips on it and try to bend it back but not shure if this would void any sort of warrenty it has

cheers Mr v

mrviper,
no warranty probs- you can't really do any harm at the end of the tube... why not give it a try and if you are unhappy with the results we can sort it out for you
