Whats the best oil for an FRS mk1?
If you had/have the money then synlube, then leave in for the rest of the life of the car, light years ahead of fossil fuel derived oils, cost about £250 at a guess, but in every way better.
Failing that Fuchs Titan, etc.

A good 10w-40 will be fine, minimum semi synthetic with regular changes but better would be a good synthetic, again 10w-40 or 5w-40.
Loads to look at www.opieoils.co.uk

Grade wise 5w30 semi or fully synthetic is recommended by ford...brandwise is down to your own choice and budget.
