tried wacking it with me hand but i am flexing the boot lid far to much. Don't fancy hitting it with a mallet, but then i do need to get into the boot.

if that dont work max remove ya rear parcel shelf ya got and stick ya hand in the hole to open the rear seat and then climb in

belive it or not i actually fitted in the boot of me cabrio to climb through and unlock me doors as its delocked , thats a shit load harder to do

oh and just give it a firm push mate, my was stiff and opened but then yours has prob rusted in due to all the water ya use on it due to washing it too much,

hence why i aint got that issue

Well I finally got into the boot

One big rubber mallet and a few heafty swings with it the boot opened

But now I need a new boot lock. This one got kinda mangled in the process . At least the button moves now even though is does fook all else.

If i order a new lock from fords will they

A) Rob me blind
B) Supply the wrong lock
or hopefully
C) Supply a lock that matches my current key and not empty my bank account
(I can dream can't I)

I don't really want to delock the boot

Yer the central locking does unlock the boot but the pushin part of the lock don't actually open the boot

AND NO. I AM NOT GONNA REMOVE MY SPOILER
