i have an old transit in the drive, the little lady says it cant stay unless it does something useful so i am going to turn in into a home theatre...! yes applaud if you must...

now this is where i get stuck... and im beign stubborn and not asking my wife cos i want to surprise her with it over xmas, shes gonna LOVE it, i know she doesnt really want to get rid of the van but she feels like its pointless as it is (totally undriveable!) so im excited to do this for both of us...
can anyone help me? the van is standard issue, made in 1980 and i dont mind if the sofa goes down the side of across the back, maybe across the back would be better to be slightly futher away from the screen... im still in the early stages!!

What is your budget like? Check out your local charity shops, not sure what it is like over there but some bargains can be had over here if your willing to look around.

yeh i guess it is a bit pimp my ride but it wont move anywhere, it will be a stationary vehicle... and although a few years ago i wouldve loved the idea of the sofa bed, dude its in my drive, id rather just run into the house!! guess thats a pretty big sign of age! maybe i should start a blog and follow the journey in pics... dont reckon many would follow though, probs no point!
