Default oil seals

will be replacing the crank and auxillary oil seals this week and i want to know if you push them in dry or do you lightly lube them to help them slide in?

Nothing on the outside of the seal, but on the inner sealing face use a bit of grease rather than oil, works and makes it slide better.
Just use VITON for best long lasting seal.

If you look on the underside you will see that it sits on three lugs, so it's a few mm below the top surface, though so long as it's at least flush and square it's ok, I always push mine all the way in, good to see you're using a viton seal, so much better and longer lasting.

ok tabetha pushed them seals right back and it looks perfect, also managed to get my sump on,pulleys on and timed up,im confident ive timed them up properly but the question ive got now is,is there surpose to be a washer behind the tensioner as when i was turning the engine over by hand the belt wanted to come off the cam pulleys.

Tensioner goes against the head with no washer between it and the head.
The GUIDE for the belt is a dished washer fitted on the crankshaft prior to putting the crank pulley back on, additional guide is the lips on the tensioner.
Your belt looks seriously VERY wrong, you are putting the flat part of the tensioner against the block, the outer part of the tensioner has a bel shape bit where a rubber bung sits in that the timing belt cover rubs on, you have fitted the dished washer, on the crank ?.
Smudge that just spotted it the cam pulleys are on the wrong way!!, remove and turn around the outer is facing in and vice versa, so you've got what should be the outside face facing the engine!!
