My new *cough* BMW M3 *cough*
Well i felt like i no longer fitted in round here so sold my FRS in aug to get an evo which half of PF own now but then i began to feel left out again so thought i best buy an M3

I bought the car from Stoo so went on his trust as i was a bit worried of the mine field that is M3 for sale ad's!
Brought it home on thu and am falling in love. Long may it treat me well...
It seems to have had the whole BMW spec sheet thrown at it. Look at the list
FSH,
HPI clear,
Steel Grey,
6 speed Manual,
Black Nappa leather interior with brushed anthracite trim.
19" unmarked reconditioned alloys
TV / SatNav
Electric rear blind
Heated Electric memory seats
Harman Kardon stereo upgrade
Electric Sunroof
LED rear lights
Tyre pressure sensors
Leather armrest
6 disc changer
Cup holders and coin holder
Auto Xenon headlights and wipers
Cruise control
Climate contol + Air conditioning
Heated rear window
Muti-function leather steering wheel
rs grant is gay
Auto dimming rear view mirror
Electric front and rear windows
Central locking alarm
Grad tint windscreen
did anyone bother to read all that?
I've fancied one for ages and friends have had them before so knew what to expect. On the 180 mile drive home it managed 33 mpg

Had a run out today to Braemar, 70 odd miles each way and did 27mpg with some good speeds reached. It's nuts!
Anyway, pics

Happy you got it mate... seem to remember Stoo saying that it was spec'd to the hills when he bought it but he never went into as much detail as you have.
....................haha, you dick.

Cheers,
Grant

yup.
I heard it felt a little more than pimp! Red is the bollocks! I'd swap any day!
Cheers, my mate has some fancy pants DSLR

Oh aye! Where from?

I just always wanted the m3, traded my frs for the evo as it wasn't selling and i always wanted one. Ticked that box off now
I wasnt fussed if it stayed or went and when the guy phoned about it i had actually forgotten it was for sale

Just testing to see if people read the crap or not
Oh yeah? What ya bought?

Cheers Kev

Nice car Chop
Followed (and overtook, but that's a given
) an E46 M3 Vert today, they look hard as fook from behind
I'd love one, but it would need a lot more power than standard, my E36 Evo (same motor more or less) shifted nicely, the power delivery was very linear. I just missed the turbo torque, hence the move to an Evo and I've not looked back.
If they did a V8 / turbo E46 M3 at current prices I'd jump on one
Enjoy it, hopefully see you at Crimbo time if you can get down to Donny

I tried to call you Friday from a colleague's truck phone, saw you returned the call but I missed your call and then forgot all about it till today. You'd have heard something like "you're through to Dennis' phone, leave a message", that was me!
Plate guy has got back to me saying he'll sort it, but wants to know what he has to do and how much it will cost. Haven't got back to him yet, but seeing as you know your way round plates I may bell you tomorrow day time if you're around?

Yeah i'll keep chrimbo in my mind as it'd be good to catch up
I was like wtf when i got the dennis guy's answering message! I was driving when you called.
Call me tomorrow. I'll even drop the paperwork off at his door
That's lovely and it's a similar spec to mine bar the grant is gay option
Mine is currently averaging 26mpg and it'll do more on a run but most of my driving is around town these days lol
CSL intakes are around £2000 if you can find one!
They sound amazing though
