Hi all,
Just wondering if anyone knows where the emergency fuel shut off switch is on a 1.8tdci estate as not in the same place as the petrol hatch,

I Have tried tow starting for 3 miles and failed, crank sensor, cam sensor, just swapped relays over and gave it some easy start, got code d262 off the dash so have disconnected battery to see if the fault comes back when cranked or if it was caused by the attempted tow start.
If it were an airlock in the injectors any idea how to shift it?

How did your problems start? The dash test is pretty useless when it comes to DTC fault codes, you need a proper scanner.
IIRC you need to crack the injectors off individually and use the priming bulb on the pump to remove any air.

Thanks, mine doesnt have the priming bulb as is meant to self bleed, have just tried to start and am getting a little smoke from the exhaust which i guess is unburnt fuel but not properly catching, of to the garage i reckon for a scan

Further invest showed the glowplug on cyl 1 has detached in the middle so have removed and ordered another set, will try to remove the rest (Gonna be a pig i reckon) and check condition and change them on spec, and see what happens, the fact of unburnt fuel was the promping factor to check them as i was under the impression the compression ignited the fuel and the plugs were just for v low temps, but having visited the manufacturers website the reckon the engine block needs to be warmed to provide a good combustion enviroment. Will update again when fitted as it may help someone else.
