I have just bought an 04 focus ghia 1.8 tdci (115bhp).
The car has a bit of a service history but nothing seems to have been mentioned about the timing belts.
Do these cars have timing belts and at what mileage should they be changed at, and how much should this work cost.
The car has 73k miles.

the petrol focus cam belt should be changed every 10 years, or 100k miles, which ever comes round first, not sure about the diesel.

 

Dad had the same car & it was 100k.
