Default cosworth alloys

Hi,

Looking to get some cosworth Sharktooth alloys for a bit of a retro race look on my S1, there is an awesome ex-dtm series that used to run them (although the guy had converted them from four stud to single nut.

I have got some saph 1's at 15" which would fit the S1, but was wondering if they did them any bigger, was there a 16 or 17" upgrade maybe???

oh and any comments on what you think the car would look like with them on aswell, good or bad.

Cheers

Rob

Only 15's, no bigger. Any pics of that DTM one? Don't think I've seen that. Sure you're not thinking of Hockenheim wheels, that's the only ex-DTM car I know with single stud. Was from cover of one of the mags a while back.

Opinions: there are better suited wheels out there.

well looking at them, they are split rims, and they look a little bit like the cosworth alloys if you squint a bit lol

i have seen 3dr wheels on a s1 and they look good, dont think i'd go to the trouble of making them single nut though.

Sharktooths are great wheels - really light and very strong. I race on them. Black painted and white painted variants. 15" only. I have 12 and they cost me Ł110 for all 12.

Haven't got a picture of the black ones, sorry.

i like, they look cool. i think i'll have a look for some, been put off the 3dr 1's at the prices ppl are asking, they're not exactly rare so dont see the point in paying over the top.
