has anyone tried fitting a MK2 focus steering wheel to a MK1 focus? they look like they fit , just wondered if anyone had tried ?

 

the mk2 steering whel does fit as i had one on my transit connect and they are on the same platform as the mk1 focus, the only issue you will have is wiring up the mk2 focus airbag to the mk1. (i ended up not plugging my air-bag in..)
