diesel boxes are still weak just have different ratios that are not really suited to an rs turbo, you would be better off with a 1.7 puma box these are a tough cheap box

fit a ib5 mate and either a escort 1600 16v zetec one for alonger gearing or a revvy one like above off a puma of ka sport then use a puma linkage for a much better feel

If you're really running 231 BHP then any B5 box wont last long, better with the MTX75,box,can handle all the torque a cvh will ever produce, plus you can get a smooth engagement on reverse.

Yeah we all know this but it requires custom shafts, cutting the inner wing, and custom mounts which makes the price far far greater than dropping a IB5 in, unless you can do all the fab yourself including shafts, and it's not hydraulic.

Ul need to machine the crown wheel to fit over the larger LSD. And u can only put a 8 bolt diff from a s2 in a ib5

Do you? I thought an RST LSD will drop straight in, just need to fit the larger IB5 bearings
