my st200 has developed a noise and it sounds like it is coming from a pulley. if you look from the drivers side of the engine its the pulley at the top inbetween the V. what does this pulley drive?
the car has recently had a new alternator, idler pulley, belt tensioner and belt, so these parts should be good.
any help would be good
cheers Matthew

As said top pulley is PAS.
Mine has a soft ticking noise when hot from that area.
I don't think it is the auxilary belt, but can't make out if it is the chains or chain tensioner. Put it this way i ain't taking the whole bloody engine apart to look at the chains
. Major major job.
Unfortunately the car will be driven until it dies .
