Post talk talk broadband

Hi Guys

I am thinking of going with them for a call/broadband package for 14.99 plus £12 line rental. its for an unlimited package calls and broadband including 0870/0845 numbers.

it seems like quite a good deal to me just would like to know if they are any good. as i now a few people who are on virgin and they do nothing but complain about it crashing all the time.

has anyone had any dealings with these or heard of anything bad.

thanks in advance

Been with them for 4 years, had no issues. Relatively quick to answer the phone when I need to contact them too.

You're going to get good and bad comments though, seems that no ISP is fault free these days.

The bastards keep cold calling me saying they are cheaper and faster than BT.

They offered me 3 meg when I already had 7.8 meg from BT..

I'm out of contract, and ring them every three months to renegotiate my tariff, they seem oddly ok with it, and my bill comes down every time!

I would check the speeds BT could give you before you sign anything.
its always worth paying a bit extra to get a faster speed IMO

the difference was very little bt was 22mg and talk talk have said it will be 20mg.

will it make much of a difference as the line is a bt line from what they have told me they will send a bt engineer out to put the new line in.

I'd hope they'd have sorted their shit out by now, but BT were the most useless sacks of shit I've ever had to deal with!!! One of the reasons we went with Talk Talk was that we could pay the line rental through them, rather than having to be billed separately by BT. I will never willingly use their services again.

yea i hope it will all be ok i have gone for talk talk and i await a phone call from bt to arrange the install of the new line. im going to have a phone line put in the spare room were the mac will be. as i have got to pay the install fee i might as well make them work for it instead of just plugging a cable in the box outside my flat and using the box that sits behind my tv.

thanks
