Default PDR courses any suggestions?

Looking at taking one of these Paintless dent removal courses soon but so many companies out there, Dentrix come across as very professional with many years experience but tbh most of the companies do ( or say they do ).

Just wondered of anyone here has taken a course in the past & if so who with? I'm in the south east so don't want to travel as there's plenty of companies within a few hrs drive.

Can't help you with who you should do it with. Unless you've got Dent Master or Dent Wizard in your area?!?! The only problem doing it with them tho is that they will expect you to work for them afterwards. If you can get the course under your belt and set up on your own then it is well worth it. I've done mine over here and it is going okay, mind you there isn't the same amount of companies over here offering this service to car dealers like there is in the UK. Good luck with it

All the best, Nige

Hi James

Get yourself down to a company called Smart Express.

They are the family run company that hold training for SMART repair.

They are well known in the game and heard rave reviews about them.

I am about to book onto the Pro Scuff & Scratch course followed by the unit/static alloy wheel repair program for December.

Check out their site below

Also join up onto the SMART repair forum. Some good guys on their who have been doing it years

Hope this helps.

Also forgot to say that PDR is difficult to learn and you wont get the hang of it on a 5 day course. It takes months of practice.

Once you have done the course, get down to your local scrap yard and offer to take dents out the the panels they have for sale.

Its a bonus for them and great practice for you

Also research your market/area/dealerships as its guaranteed their will be 2-3 dent wizards/chips away in your area which you will have to compete with.

Yes good advice Chris thankyou I will look them up, I do understand that it's a hard trade to learn & it will take lots of practice but think that works with most trades, thanks again mate.
