Default Help with Clifford Alarm - Remote start

Hi all,

I've got an RS2000 with a G5 Clifford Concpet 650 alarm and immobiliser with the optional intellistart package. But for the life of me, I can't remote start the damn thing...

Can anyone help me in the right direction???

Also, the system needs a service and check up... Any ideas how much this costs??

Thanks in advance,

Darren

All the conditions need to be right for the alarm to remote start.

There is a button you need to press on the remote, whilst the engine is running, then you get out, arm the car and after a few seconds the engine will shut down. The alarm knows that because the last time it was running, the alarm was armed, therefore nobody was in the car, it will leave it primed ready to start. Providing the alarm didn't go off, the system is happy that nobody could have put it in gear, so you press the assigned button to start it.

What remote do you have? How many buttons does it have?

I've got a 5 button alarm. And I've read about this, but I can't get the car to stay on when I take key out...

What button are you pressing while the vehicle is running to 'prime' the system?

Try the * button, then turn it off.

Failing that, try the * button, wait 5 seconds, then turn it off.
