hi, i have a discovery 1 that i use for off roading but ive developed a knock on the rear end, now id call the bar/ bush thats worn a V bar thats what we call them on trucks anyway. ive bein searching the net an i cannot find a replacment or a bush kit doin a search for "discovery 1 V bar" or "anti tramp bar" but ive had no look. now the bar is attached to the top of the rear diff housing & its sort of a ball joint/bush with 2 arms coming off it going to the chassis in the shape of a V hence the use of the term V bar.

can anyone tell me what landrover call these or were i can find a bar/bush kit.

cheers ill have a look for that, ive just been rakeing a rover website an came up that it may be called a fulcrum bracket aswell. were they get the names from i dont know lol

Get rid of disco and get a defender much better off road

 

nowt wrong with my disco mate . befor i got it i was looking all over for a 110 because i used to have a 57plate when i was on the drilling rigs an new they were pretty much the best off road but cudnt find a cheap enough one so disco was 2nd choice but its spot on :P

 

know what your saying defenders aint cheap tho
