Default Mongoose Exhaust Fitting - Sapphire

I am about to fit my new Mongoose exhaust. A couple of questions:

1. Are there any gaskets behind the turbo (or anywhere else) that should be replaced; and

2. The exhaust is supplied in sections. Is sealant used in the joints of the sections which are to be held by the U clamps? If so what sealant is best. I am thinking of Permatex® Ultra Copper® Maximum Temperature RTV Silicone Gasket Maker.

Thanks

No mate, no need gaskets just what I do is to apply a coat of high temp copper paste (Molycote) on the turbo flage and if you like you can use exhaust pipe sealant on the joints. I never used though and I have no leaks (I only use Molycote so I can disassembly the thing easily when I need to). Just one thing; you need to align it really good or else it vibrates alot when you lift the throtlle.

I never use any paste, but do as said and use a copper based lube to make taking apart easy when/if needed in future, the carbon soon fills any slight gaps so paste not normally needed.
