Default Turbo Carbs?

How well would a would the turbo carbs below work on a 2.0 zetec?

Renault 5 turbo carb
Montego turbo carb

I am already useing megajolt so mapping is not a problem, I was goig to use a t25 turbo.

Has anyone done this before with either carbs.

i wouldnt bother mate, upgrade to full MS and efi the zetec, also a t25 will be a little on the small size if you wish to rev the zetec past 5k, for both montego and ren set ups you will still need a high pressure efi pump and fuel lines, and fuel pressure regulator, so you be as well running a full efi setup, much more tunability. You got bike carbs the now like?

hi
Yea im running zx9r carbs with megajolt, was just thinking about keeping the costs down. If i went efi i need a efi manifold and megasquirt which adds up to quite a bit of money.

I cant use the standard manifold due to the restriction in heigh due to it bee a kit car

If you use the carb as suck through then a huge amount more carbs to choose from, and suck through has some good advantages.

Reece Fish is a oddball carb with simply three allen keys that are turned to adjust the fuelling to suit the engine used, never seen one myself but were supposedly awsome bits of kit.

like an old Sufolk punch lawnmower carb, i had one on a motorbike once, when i was 15. Was good fun, you could adjust the mixture and generally tune it. Saves a lot of money on jets and time taking carbs appart!

Dont use the Montego carbs, we had those on our maestro and we could never get the fueling perfect across the range, hence we are on injection
