Default Which car??

A few months ago I bought an immaculate 58 Astra VXR with very low mileage for about 15K but having lived with it for a while I am thinking I should get something else instead but really don't know what.

I had already looked at Leon Cupra but can't find a decent one with the BTCC bodykit and I did not like the bucket seats much. Tried an ST3 but it felt cheap inside and not particularly quick although sound nice. Golf GTIs are expensive and I there were none about in good nick, same with R32's.

Would like an Escos or Subaru P1 but have not driven either yet.

Any suggestions?

well it could do with an lsd and remap but apart from that not too bad. Nah don't fancy vtec too much noise and no torque reminds me of the rx8 i drove and sucked. Was gonna buy one until i drove it. Needs to be something with a turbo me thinks.

Must admit the buzzy nature of the type r I don't like, but seriously unimpressed by the VXR I was out in last month, esp ride quality, it was the "burg" edition on 19" I think they were.
Been driving a mk2 golf gti 1800 8v today, can see what people see in them but seriously unimpressed by performance, even though it's just been to a vw place for a tune up(and mot), even passed with no working offside front indicator and nearside door can't be opened from the outside, always thought that was part of test.
