Tv licence question

You need to be covered by a valid TV Licence if you watch or record TV as it's being broadcast. This includes the use of devices such as a computer, laptop, mobile phone or DVD/video recorder.

any apparatus capable of recieving tv signals- dont matter what is it tv -pc etc etc---------old argument thats been going on for donkeys years m8--.

I think the bbc iplayer site itself clarifies the issue, the first time you try to stream live it asks you to confirm you do have a tv license, for prev aired footage it does not ask

So basically as long as its not live tv its fine.
The bbc link clarifys it aswell, "You only need a licence if you use your computer to watch programmes at the same time as they are being shown on TV"
