Default Email from ebay

I got a email from ebay saying someone is trying to use my account and they want me to confirm its my account by asking me some questions but im worried its a fake!! Has anyone else got these sort of emails from them?

Go to ebay and log into your account there, if its real you should also see it on your notifications there.

DO NOT ANSWER THE QUESTIONS ON THE E_MAIL OR CLICK ANY LINKS WITHIN THAT E_MAIL!

Thanks for that m8 I just checked my emails on my ebay account and theres no messages about it on there so it must be a fake!!

i got same one few months ago jog it on an delete it mate my ebay still works

Its a common tactic now, phishing its called. if in doubt goto the site by typing the address in and not via any links.

Dude, dont log into eBay or Paypal for that matter via any other way than you normaly do and you will be fine

Just forward them to spoof@ebay.co.uk and spoof@paypal.co.uk respectfully

scam send the email to ebay they will tell you. Getting a lot more common now

go to log on as normal!- if someone has tried to log on and failed you will see the id and or password they tried to use-e bay wont ask you to confirm details anyhow-but u can ring them up if you wish---
