would this go into a mk6 escort

if so what would need swapping as a mate on another forum is toying with the idea

 

Most engines can go in most cars, the question is, why? Why doesnt your mate source a good 2.0L zetec which will slot straight in? the 1.7 is expensive to tune properly, better of with a 1.6 if you wanted to go down that route..
