Default shocked and appalled

at the price of parts from ford compared to last year.
last year i did an underside resto on my last saph,im doing the same with the saph i bought last week but im not going as mad with what i buy.
i was at ford today ordering some clips, bolts and getting prices for other parts and kept swearing when he was telling me the price.
the rubber insulators for the fuel pump which are always split in half, last year they were £11,this year £23 inc vat
cv boots,£13 each
rear abs sensor, last year £109,this year £164,ill just glue mine back on thanks.
the washers for the bolts that hold the diff to the beam, last year they were £3.50 each, min order of 10,this year £5.45.for 1 frikkin washer and theres a min order of 10.
checked the fuel pump cage spares, you could get a whole bracket that holds the pump to the cage with the 3 insulators for £39.87 but is no longer available, you couldnt get 2 insulators for that.
i just bought 3 vauxhall insulators off ebay,£3.09 each inc delivery.
the parts man said ford usually has 1 price increase a year in january, they had that and are having another in october.i can understand what storage must cost to have all these 20+ year old cossie parts lying about so you think they would reduce the price and get shot of them instead of upping the price.its better to get something for them rather than nothing!

i dont know the ford part number,i could get it tomorrow but theres no way id be paying 23 quid for them when theres 3 of them,i would grudginly pay the old price but not the new 1.total rip off!
