Yes it's a typo - The ring know about it and it IS valid!

Im not likely to get out there again this year, so if its 31/12/10 its not much use to me but if its valid next year then i'll go and buy a few copies

 

It's actually a year and a day out

31st April doesn't exist. It's valid until 30/4/2011

Apparently people have been buying them up in bulk - one group bought 100 copies between them as they're going out there for a week.

 

Yeah makes perfect sense to buy a load of them if it means lots of laps at 4 quid each
