it might be an eagle i think one name used to be,a nova the whole roof and screen and side windows lift up in one big piece up and forwards

It's an Eagle SS to give it it's proper name.

The car in the Clockwork Orange was an Adams Probe 16, an Imp based car which held the title of the world's lowest car for a while.

Seeing as James Dean died in 1955 and the Eagle was first made in the 60s I doubt it.. You're thinking of a Lotus!
