Default Focus RS MK2 Bilstein B16

Posting up for a mate. He picked up a Mountune'd Green Focus RS today. He's happy with it for sure. He's ordered himself a set of Brembo's as he felt the standard brakes were on their limit with the upped power.

He wants to bring the car down closer to the rims. I suggested some lowering springs but he's wanting to splash out on new coilovers to improve the ride. So on top of my head, i've suggested KWs but he want to stick with Bilstein (he used on previous cars).

The Bilstein kit that available for the RS is a B12 but he's seen a B16 set on Graham Goodes website but its only available for the Focus ST. Is there much different between the B12 and B16s?

Cheers

B12 is fixed height with non-adjustable damping, B16 is height adjustable, damping adjustable. B16CSC is the same but with remote cannister.

I doubt coilovers will improve the ride

Cool, so considering the B16 are available for the Focus ST, you think it'd OK to use them on the RS?

There may be an issue with where the ST shocker on the front connects to the hub on the RS as it's got the Revo knuckle.
