Whats the best oil to put into a Ford Focus 1.8 tdci Sport (2006)?

 

Sorted. Seems 5w 30 castrol magnatec is best...Unless advised otherwise

 

Going to change oil filter, fuel filter etc while im at it. Shall i just stick with Ford stuff and is there any benefits for going for another, performace like brand??

 

defo go with 5w/30, thats what ford recommend for all there zetec and duratec engined cars. the 5w/30 oil from ford is semi-synthetic, when i did an oil and filter change the other week, i used Mobil One 5w/30 fully synthetic.

 

Yea. Defo guna go for a decent brand like tht. Castrol seems easier got in my town than mobile however.

I checked out fordparts uk and ther service kit works out about £60 or so. Going to o into the local ford dealer to price things and see who comes out cheaper.

Still thinking of going for a k&n air filter mind you.
