i registered on series one turbo website yesterday had a browse through the site never posted or anything , i go to go on there today and get a message up saying you have been banned as a precauctionary measure and ban will never be lifted ........ what the hell is going on ?

 

what user name did you use? If it's the same one as on here they probably thought you were a buisness

 

serious one was the user name and im definatley not a business mate wish i was then i wouldnt have to watch the pennies so much!

I'm guessing you haven't been banned - for some reason my account has been deactivated too, i don't know the reason yet but will find out.

Alot of the members can be found in the S1 section on the rsoc ask over there you'll get a quicker answer

 

it states when i try to log in i am banned etc and i can contact him if i wish to discuss this , which i have but no reply back yet . very strange ! oh well

 

You have been banned at a guess becuase of your name, someone on that site was banned using the user name seriousone so guessing the admin felt you may be him attempting to reaccess the site via a different computer/email address but retaining your name.

email the admin.

 

that makes more sense but why would they not just list the username as unavaliable?that would make more sense oh well will wait to see if i hear back from them not the end of the world

 

did you type it is Serious One or seriousone though? would have to be exact to be unavailable i guess, but being so close may have flagged it up to them.

being a s1 forum how many s1 names with s1,series1 eg are there, that was a bit rash to ban with out checking ip numbers

 

think it was more that is it the same name bar a space of a banned user that has caused the issue. Am sure he will get it sorted, good little site that is.
