0 tax and 0 NI, but i guess i should pay some NI when i come back to the uk just to keep things upto date, not paying tax though, working in the usa on a visa that is tax exempt and i won't be spending enough time in uk to have to pay tax on my earnings out here, life is good yar, i found a way to screw the tax man, and enjoy myself

a week?!

don't earn a lot then

my deductions range from around Ł700 a month upwards for tax, ni and pension so it's about the same as you, but not knowing how much mr 8gig pays i can't see if it's made him happy or not

None at all working abroad. Use the difference to stick a shedload into a personal pension, savings and the wife uses the spare to invest in shares and what we make each month goes back into savings.

More than I'd like to pay, that's for sure. And no offence BM08, but I'm sure there are many forum users who pay considerably more than you!
