Default cam pulley and drive belts

Is it ok to have these powder coated, more the cam pulleys im interested in, as i wasnt to sure wether having all the teeth done can cause issues if it was to flake off etc or leave sharp edges? anyone had them done or is it best to mask the teeth up and just have the centres done?

Make sure you mask the teeth and importantly the mating face that the bolt and washer touch
