Cleaning my Saff's engine bay
That's what my 4x4 Saff's engine bay looked like when I picked it up last year:
Now I've cleaned up the engine bay a little and treated it with "Sonax Motorplast". It freshens up rubber and plastic bits and also forms a protective layer on alloy parts, stopping it from corroding. I'm well chuffed with the result:

Nah, just cleaned and sprayed with the stuff mentioned above. It forms some kind of glossy coat which makes metal parts look like freshly painted.

You can get it everywhere here. But I'm sure Meguiars, etc. will do some similar stuff.
If you can't find it, I'll send you a can.

YBJ yes, early not really. It was build for the italian market where the non-cat version was available till the very end.

Yes, you can actually see that no-one ever messed with the wastegate actuator, etc. I'll keep it bog-standard, too of course.
Not sure about YBGs in Italy... Will investigate!
